2024 A Year of Growth, Trust & New Beginnings
As I reflect on 2024, I am filled with gratitude for the lessons and opportunities this year has provided. It’s been a year of unexpected personal health challenges and navigating the complexities of launching my own business—both of which have tested me in ways I never anticipated. These experiences have deepened my trust in God’s plan, called me to remain vulnerable, and required me to lean into patience more than I’d like to admit.
Opportunities to Trust
The first half of the year brought significant health complications, including setbacks with my already complicated condition, two surgeries, and ongoing treatments at Mayo Clinic. Balancing the physical challenges with the demands of building a business was no easy feat. Yet, in those quiet, testing moments, I was reminded that sometimes the greatest growth comes when we simply sit still, wait, and trust that things are being worked out for us—well in advance of our understanding.
Impactful Moments in 2024
Launching my business has been an incredible journey, and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunities to serve this mission. In 2024, I had the honor of:
Leading 32 workshops for organizations, conferences, and universities, sparking growth and leadership across diverse audiences.
Coaching 18 individuals, guiding college athletes, corporate leaders, and professionals to unlock their full potential.
Continuing my partnership with Day of Compassion, leading retreats for K-12 students focused on leadership, compassion, kindness, and integrity—shaping the next generation of leaders.
Volunteering with organizations like Hip Hop & Hope, Excellerate Youth, Disrupt HR, and the FMWF Chamber, bringing empowerment and hope to the community.
Each of these moments has felt less like an achievement and more like a testament to the power of trust—the trust that when we align with our purpose, we have the power to create lasting impact.
